About Kim Adkins

Based in Largo, Maryland, Kim, of Platinum Preferred Properties, is a 23 year veteran of the real estate industry and has represented clients in the Maryland and District of Columbia areas. As a native of Maryland and a seasoned real estate professional, she values the trust her clients place in her. Kim has built a solid foundation of clients through her professionalism, attention to detail, tenacity, and commitment to always put her client’s needs first.

Kim studied at Capital Seminary & Graduate School where she received her Master of Arts Degree in Leadership. She earned her undergraduate degrees from Lancaster Bible College and Chowan University. She began working in the real estate industry in 1997. Kim’s passion for real estate has allowed her to continue to leverage her know-how and experience. She strives every day to exceed her client’s expectations. Her knowledge and valuable skills make her an expert in real estate negotiations, educating homebuyers and sellers, and marketing listings effectively. She is detailed-oriented, proactive, and no transaction is too difficult. Kim holds several designations and certifications. She is a Certified Probate Real Estate Specialist (CPRES), specializes in the luxury real estate market, distressed property sales, and investor transactions.

Kim is active in the community and proudly supports Trinity Resources Non-Profit Corporation’s effort to help eradicate homelessness and hunger. In her free time, Kim loves photography, line dancing, traveling, baking, and cake decorating. However, her greatest joy is spending time with her husband and daughter.
